Four 2021 Fords You Need to Know About

Although there are quite a lot of different car brands out there, to us, Ford is the most exciting, with impressive new innovations and features coming out all the time. This means that Ford models have some of the best technology available, and every year we get excited to see what they have in store for us. 2021 is an especially exciting year for visiting Ford dealers in Cincinnati since there are great updates throughout pretty much the entire lineup. That being said, four models in particular really have our attention this year.

If you’re interested in an SUV or a pickup for going off-road, then you’ll definitely want to pay close attention to what Ford is rolling out. We can’t think of a better time in recent memory to be a Ford-fan looking for a new vehicle to take off-road. Between the all-new 2021 Bronco, the 2021 Bronco Sport, and the redesigned 2021 F-150 Raptor, you can find an amazing vehicle at your Ford dealer that can conquer pretty much any trail. Meanwhile, the all-new 2021 Mustang Mach-E is Ford’s first all-electric vehicle and an exciting introduction to the iconic Mustang family. Now let’s take a closer look at the four models we’re most excited about this year.

2021 Ford Bronco

First up is the return of a classic: the all-new 2021 Ford Bronco, which is back after more than 20 years away from the auto scene. Some manufacturers might be tempted to bring back a well-known name and try to ride on its laurels, but it’s clear that Ford has no such intention with the Bronco. The all-new 2021 model is absolutely amazing and includes some of the best off-road features we’ve ever seen.

For starters, you’ll find both two-door and four-door models available at your Cincinnati Ford dealer, so you can get a model that’s the right configuration for you. There are two engines to choose from, including a 2.7L EcoBoost V6 that can get up to 310 hp and up to 400 lb-ft of torque for excellent performance. One of the things we really love is that you can choose either a 7-speed manual transmission with a crawler gear or a 10-speed automatic – so no matter how you prefer to drive, Ford has you covered. Although you can certainly enjoy the new Bronco in the city, it’s definitely been designed to leave the road behind.

It comes with a Terrain Management System with Ford’s new Goes Over Any type of Terrain (G.O.A.T.) Modes. This includes five drive modes standard: Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco, and Normal. However, certain trims expand upon those to include Mud, Rock Crawl, and Baja modes for greater control in extreme conditions. With more than 11 inches of ground clearance, more than 33 inches of available water fording, and best-in-class departure and breakover angles, the new Ford Bronco really is an amazing off-road machine.

2021 Ford Bronco Sport

If you like the style and off-road performance of the Bronco, but you’re looking for something a bit smaller, then check out the all-new Bronco Sport at your Ford dealer in Cincinnati. This is a terrific SUV for going off-road, though it doesn’t have quite as many features as the standard Bronco has to offer – in part due to its smaller size. Still, if you want a more compact option, then the Bronco Sport is terrific.

It comes with 4×4 standard, as you’d expect from such an off-road-focused vehicle, with seating for five people and more than 65 cu. ft. of total cargo space available. Just like the standard Bronco, the Bronco Sport comes with Ford’s new Terrain Management System with G.O.A.T. Modes that include Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco, and Normal. If you choose the Badlands trim for improved off-road performance, then you also get Mud and Rock Crawl modes. An Advanced 4×4 system is also available, with a twin-clutch rear drive unit for boosted off-road capability; plus, every model comes with Ford’s new High-Performance, Off-Road, Stability, Suspension (H.O.S.S.) system.

Due to its smaller size, the Bronco Sport can’t quite match the standard Bronco for off-road capability. For example, the Bronco Sport has up to about 23 inches of water fording – nearly 10 inches less than the all-new Ford Bronco. Still, it’s a sporty, powerful little SUV that can take you just about anywhere and navigate tight quarters more easily than the larger Bronco.

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E

The third SUV we’re really excited about this year is the all-new Ford Mustang Mach-E, which is the first entirely new addition to the Mustang family to hit Ford dealers in more than 50 years. While the announcement of a Mustang SUV would be enough to get attention, what really makes the Mach-E something special is its all-electric design. This is the flagship Electric Vehicle (EV) for Ford, and it’s one we’re very excited about.

One of the things we really love about the new Mustang Mach-E is that there are a number of models available for it. So you can pick the Mach-E that fits your budget and meets your needs for performance or range. For example, the Select model has a rear-wheel drive setup with up to 266 hp and up to 317 lb-ft of torque from the electric motor, allowing it to go from 0 to 60 in 5.8 seconds. And with a range of up to 230 miles on a full charge, you will never have to worry about recharging. A Premium model with its extended-range battery, on the other hand, can go up to 300 miles on a full charge and from 0 to 60 in 6.1 seconds.

Meanwhile, the performance-focused GT trim features all-wheel drive standard with 480 hp and up to 634 lb-ft of torque and the ability to go from 0 to 60 in just 3.5 seconds. As you can see, the Mach-E certainly lives up to the Mustang name when it comes to performance, and the new model represents a real look at the future of the Ford lineup. That’s not even mentioning impressive new technology like the standard 15.5-inch screen for the all-new SYNC 4 infotainment system or Ford’s Active Drive Assist system, which allows for hands-free driving along designated roadways.

2021 Ford F-150 Raptor

If you like the sound of going off-road with a Ford, but the SUV design of the Bronco and Bronco Sport isn’t for you, then check out the all-new 2021 F-150 Raptor. This is arguably the best full-size truck on the market for going off-road, and it includes all the incredible features of the latest-generation F-150. That includes not only the new 12-inch central touch screen and updated safety technology, but also Ford’s new ProPower Onboard, which transforms your truck into a mobile generator for your tools and equipment.

The Ford F-150 Raptor has a fantastic Terrain Management System, much like the Bronco models, along with next-generation FOX Shocks with active damping to automatically adjust to terrain changes. With the available 37-inch tires, the Raptor has more than 13 inches of ground clearance, an approach angle of more than 33 degrees, and a breakover angle of more than 24 degrees. The Raptor also comes with a 1-pedal driving mode, so you can more easily focus on handling rock crawling, as well as a Trail Control system that’s like cruise control for going off-road and managing rough terrain.
