I scheduled an appointment for 7:45 am on 3 April 2025 many weeks in advance for RECALLS. When dropping car off I stated, "please fix all recalls". There was a diagnostic error on my dash, and I asked them to look into it, they focused only on the $2000 diagnostic repair (which my regular mechanic can do), but did not do the recall repairs on the axle.

I have a Ford F-150 3.5L Ecoboost and in 2022 the vehicle was brought in and needed new timing chain and phasers. $3k cost to replace. Their warranty is 2 years and unlimited miles. I am at 2 years and 2 months (25,000 miles more) and they are telling me the exact same issue has occurred and needs to be replaced again (now $3.3k quote). Ford design is expected for the lift of the vehicle, though they do say some will need the replacement. Current Ford survey has it at about 30% needing the fix, yet I am now at twice in 2 years. I went out to test drive a Bronco Sport. The gas tank was almost empty so I couldn't go far. Next, a protection package was added to the price of my vehicle without even asking me. On top of that, I was a third time buyer at that dealership and no incentive given for being a loyal customer. I went back out to have something done to my new vehicle and was given a loaner. Again, with no gas. A good sales rep would have put gas in the vehicle. I will never shop here again.
I went to Kings Ford to look at a specific Explorer. I spoke with Steve P on the phone and when I arrived he had the one I wanted along with another one (different trim package) ready to test drive! I ended up liking his suggestion better than what I went for. They didn’t have the color I wanted but they made sure to get me the exact color and features I wanted!!!
