Its advanced powertrain and suspension, highly configurable interior, and a wide range of useful technologies are just a few of the highlights.

Performance and Capability

A gray and a blue 2026 Ford Bronco off-roading

The core of every Ford Bronco is what it can do. Straight from the factory, the 2026 Ford Bronco is built to perform, whether that’s on busy urban streets or the most remote trails and intense parks.

Powertrains Built for Every Adventure

Bronco owners live for the outdoors in many ways, and there is no universal powertrain setup that’s right for everyone. Ford offers the 2026 edition with three different engines to suit how you plan to use your Bronco, whether that’s for the occasional adventure or as an off-road-only vehicle.

The base Bronco engine is a 2.3L turbo-four, which produces up to 300 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. This affordable powerplant is great for all-around driving—and it’s available with the standard 10-speed automatic transmission or a seven-speed manual for traditional off-roaders. The next step up is a 2.7L turbo-six with up to 330 hp and 415 lb-ft for steeper hills and quick acceleration. Both engines have a 3,500 lbs towing capacity to haul your powersports and camping equipment.

If you want the most brawn, the 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor delivers it. A trim-exclusive 3.0L turbo-V6 generates up to 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque for amazing top-end speed and precise crawling. It also boosts towing capacity to 4,500 lbs so that you can bring more goodies to your next destination.

HOSS 1.0: All-Purpose Off-Road Stability

Like the bucking horses it’s named after, the 2026 Ford Bronco is made to get a little wild—and sometimes more. The standard HOSS (High-Performance Off-Road Stability) 1.0 system on the Bronco Base, Big Bend, and  Outer Banks is an all-purpose suspension for on- and off-road expeditions.

It’s tuned with an independent front suspension, a solid rear axle, long-travel coilovers, and twin-tube Hitachi dampers. These trims also have part-time 4WD, five GOAT selectable terrain modes, three tow hooks, and hill start assistance. You can add Ford Trail Control for one-pedal driving at low speeds.

HOSS 2.0: Tougher Trails, Greater Control

It wouldn’t be a Bronco without ways to upgrade for more intense environments. The HOSS 2.0 system on the Bronco Badlands features a thicker front axle and position-sensitive Bilstein dampers with three-zone rebound adjustments.

The Badlands also has two more Terrain Management Modes, underbody bash plates and rock rails, steel bumpers, and Advanced 4×4 with Automatic On-Demand Engagement. Adding the Sasquatch package gives you 35-inch mud-terrain tires on beadlock-capable wheels, electronic locking front and rear differentials, a suspension lift, and a higher final drive ratio.

HOSS 3.0 and 4.0: Extreme Precision and Performance

The Bronco Stroppe Edition is equipped with the Sasquatch package and the HOSS 3.0 system, which uses five-zone Fox internal bypass dampers, a heavy-duty steering rack and tie rods, and a rear stabilizer bar for more precision on mountain trails. Then there’s HOSS 4.0 on the Bronco Raptor. It has infinite semi-active damping and a larger rear axle to roar over any path.

Functionality and Comfort

Even when you’re pushing beyond the limits, you want to be comfortable at the wheel. In addition to seven trim levels, the 2026 Ford Bronco offers many design features to make your adventures grand.

Choose Your Bronco: Two-Door or Four-Door

The tradition continues in 2026 of offering the Ford Bronco as a short two-door or a long four-door configuration, with the doors on each removable for open-air fun.

A two-door, four-seat Bronco is excellent for people who primarily go on solo and two-person adventures or need a shorter vehicle to fit crowded highways and tight trail openings. It has a cozy 43.1 inches of front legroom, 36.3 inches of rear legroom for kids and teens, and up to 52 cu.ft. of cargo space.

The four-door Bronco is designed to hold people and supplies to the brim. Ford slightly increases rear legroom to 36.3 inches and adds a fifth seat, but uses most of the longer wheelbase to expand the cargo hold, and you can order it with a removable hardtop or a soft top. A hardtop four-door Bronco holds up to 77.6 cu.ft. of gear, while the soft top further increases capacity to 83 cu.ft.

Premium Comfort and Convenience Across All Trims

Do you think off-road SUVs lack creature comforts? It’s time to rethink that, as the 2026 Ford Bronco can be as lavish as you please.

Entry-level trims maintain some of the classic minimalist approach but still include the essentials such as LED headlamps, daytime running lights, heated sideview mirrors, a backup camera, an acoustic-insulated windshield, and two 12V power outlets. Available appearance packages can outfit your Bronco with fender flares, side steps, splash guards, and other ways to enhance the retro style.

Elevated Features

If you’re craving more niceties and functionality, the Big Bend adds privacy glass and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and most higher trims include LED taillamps and fog lamps.

Other upgrades in the higher trims include remote start, power-adjustable and heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, interior grab handles, and a 400-watt Pro Power Onboard system. Seats can be upholstered in premium cloth, sophisticated leather, or marine-grade vinyl.

Technology

Infotainment and digital gauge cluster on a 2026 Ford Bronco

Useful technology is no longer optional on modern SUVs. Ford is known for its premier tech, and the Ford Bronco integrates it seamlessly for an unforgettable experience.

Standard Infotainment Features

Like the amenities, Ford takes a tiered approach to infotainment. Yet the regular loadout is still better than you’ll find on most other base-trim vehicles.

Behind the wheel of a 2026 Bronco, you will be treated to a standard 12-inch touchscreen, a matching digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, SiriusXM with 360L, rear USB-C and USB-A ports, and a seven-speaker sound system.

You will also enjoy up to one year of the Ford Connectivity Package, which includes an unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot and in-vehicle app downloads—or purchase a seven-year subscription.

Upgraded Features for Enhanced Control

What possible upgrades could there be? How about an onboard navigation system with real-time traffic updates, front USB ports for the dashboard, enhanced voice recognition, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system?

The SYNC 4 infotainment system supports over-the-air updates, so you always have the latest features and functions. Some trims also come with pre-wired auxiliary switches to connect your own electronics.

No matter the trim, the 2026 Bronco keeps you connected, entertained, and in control—whether you’re on city streets or blazing your next off-road trail.

Advanced Driver Assistance for Peace of Mind

A man driving a 2026 Ford Bronco

Whether you prefer to be in full control at the wheel or like a guiding hand, the 2026 Ford Bronco happily accommodates. Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Trailer Sway Control, and Automatic High Beams set the baseline. From there, upgrading to a higher trim level or selecting the right option package opens up a new world of active driver aids.

Most notably, Ford Co-Pilot360 driver-assistance technology is standard on the Outer Banks, Heritage Edition, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor. This comprehensive suite can include:

  • Reverse Brake Assist
  • Blind-Spot Monitoring
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Pre-Collision Assist

A 360-degree camera system and digital rearview camera are also options on select Bronco trim levels. They provide the visibility you need to do anything in close quarters, from avoiding rocks and stumps to parallel parking.
