    Power & Handling

The key to understanding the Bronco Sport’s allure is knowing what powers it. Fuel efficiency is balanced with power by both of the EcoBoost engines that can come under the hood. Whether you want to make your daily commutes feel more spirited or have some wild off-road escapades, the Bronco Sport gives you that kind of power.

Beneath the 2024 model’s muscular shell is a stout platform that meshes innovation and durability. Placing a strong emphasis on performance, the Bronco Sport can be powered by one of two engine options. On the Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, and Outer Banks trim levels, there is a 1.5L turbocharged three-cylinder engine that delivers 181 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque.

Meanwhile, the Badlands trim serves up 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque from its 2.0L turbo four-cylinder engine. All-wheel drive (AWD) and an eight-speed automatic transmission are the standard issue drivetrain regardless of your engine choice. For those who plan to go on a lot of off-road adventures, having standard AWD will come in handy when you are trying to traverse difficult terrain.

You can utilize the selectable drive modes to customize your experience, flipping between Normal, Sand, or Snow modes to help you out when you need it most. Ford labels these the GOAT modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand. They are standard on all trims in this lineup and can indeed get you over some challenging terrain.

    Safety Tech

Safety is probably at the forefront of your mind, and it is certainly at the heart of every vehicle that Ford manufactures. The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is no exception, with its comprehensive Co-Pilot360 system of advanced driver assistance features. This combines automatic high beams, a forward collision mitigation system, a blind-spot detection tool with rear cross-traffic alert, and a lane departure warning signal.

Higher trim levels add more high-tech safety features. On the Outer Banks trim, you get rear parking sensors, which can warn you about obstacles that you might not be able to see with the naked eye. The Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ package—which can be added to any trim level—tacks on a navigation system, adaptive cruise control with speed limit recognition, evasive steering assistance, and lane keeping assist.

Peace of mind while towing is something Ford considers on the Bronco Sport. Part of the Class II Trailer Tow package—which can be equipped on any trim level you choose—includes trailer sway control; this tool will adjust the brakes to help keep trailer motions under control if any swaying movements are detected.

    Exterior Aesthetics

As the epitome of Ford’s off-roading prowess, the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport brilliantly captures attention from the very first glance. The Bronco Sport’s exterior aesthetics pay homage to the Bronco lineage while embracing contemporary elements.

This vehicle’s sleek LED headlights and signature front grille immediately evoke a sense of adventure, thereby setting the stage for the vehicle’s unbridled spirit contained within. Its well-sculpted body, distinctive roofline, and flared wheel arches meld together to create an athletic façade that promises excitement and capability.

The safari-style roof makes it really look as though you are headed out on an adventure. Should you want to change it up, though, you can opt for a shadow black roof starting on the base trim level. Other standard exterior features that elevate the vehicle's appearance include active grille shutters, white Bronco lettering on the front grille, and flip-up rear glass. The Free Wheeling's Graphics Package takes it old-school with two-tone front Bronco lettering and red, orange, and yellow stripes across the sides and down the hood.

    Interior Aesthetics

Once you step into the cabin, you will be treated to an interior design with comfort and functionality in mind. The Bronco Sport’s cabin speaks to how thoroughly Ford insists on high-quality craftsmanship. Automatic climate control is standard on all trim levels and will help keep you and your passengers comfortable. There is a fold-down center armrest for the rear seats that has two cup holders embedded for extra convenience.

Should you crave even more creature comforts, you will find them in abundance in higher trim levels and packages. The Big Bend can be exclusively adorned with the Black Appearance package, which includes sport seats and a slew of blacked-out exterior details. The Heritage trim offers a retro vibe with its white grille and white-painted wheels, not to mention the white interior trim on the dashboard and door panels and synthetic leather armrests. The Free Wheeling is 1980s-esque with its red accents and unique badging on the center console.

Looking for more refined details? The Outer Banks offers standard leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel. The Badlands lets you choose from standard cloth or available leather upholstery and adds in rubberized flooring.

Technology is also a big part of the Bronco Sport lineup. Standard tech gadgets include an 8.0-inch touchscreen display, satellite radio, and smartphone app integration. Should you want more, you can get it since a wireless charging pad, a universal garage door opener, a 6.5-inch digital instrument display, a ten-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and an HD radio are available in packages and on higher trim levels.

Whether you are navigating rocky trails, sandy dunes, or muddy paths, the Bronco Sport Badlands is equipped to handle it all, cementing its status as the go-to choice for off-road enthusiasts of any experience level.

    Customization Options

Buying a new vehicle means that you get the opportunity to make it truly your own. You might want it to make a particular statement about who you are and what you value. Ford understands this, which is why they give you many ways to customize the all-new 2024 Ford Bronco Sport. With diverse trim levels, exterior and interior color choices, and aesthetic accessory packages, you can personalize the Bronco Sport to your heart's content.

The Black Appearance package for the Big Bend gives you wheels and hood graphics done in matte black, a black grille, and a black roof. The Heritage and Free Wheeling trim levels clearly have their own unique vintage throwback designs. The Free Wheeling is very much an '80s-inspired vehicle with its red accents, five-color seat inserts showcasing multicolor stitching, and hood and side graphics done in bright orange, red, and yellow tones.

The Big Bend and Outer Banks also give you the option of equipping the Black Diamond Off-Road package. This bundles together underbody skid plates, gloss gray alloy wheels, and specially designed graphics. Some standalone options—including a sunroof—remain available for your consideration.
