Third-row power reclining seats are standard, so everyone can stay comfortable, and there is plenty of room inside for up to 8 people.

  Cargo space varies somewhat depending on if you choose a standard model or a MAX version, but in either case, you get a lot of room. The Standard models offer 104.6 cu.ft. of cargo volume behind the front row, up to 63.6 cu.ft. of space behind the second row, and up to 20.9 cu.ft. of space behind the third. With a MAX trim, however, you get 121.5 cu.ft. of cargo volume behind the front row, up to 79.6 cu.ft. of space behind the second row, and up to 36 cu.ft. of space behind the third row. As you can see, the MAX option is definitely the way to go if the interior cargo room is a major concern.

  When it comes to passenger space, the trim you choose really does not matter, so no matter which features you prioritize, you and your passengers will be comfortable. There is 42 inches of headroom in the front row and up to 43.9 inches of legroom up front. For second-row passengers, they get 40 inches of headroom and up to 42.6 inches of space for their legs. Third-row passengers still get more than 37 inches of headroom and almost 41 inches of legroom with the second-row seats pushed forward.

• Safety Features

  

  Safety truly is the most important feature of any vehicle – nothing matters more than making sure you and your loved ones are safe on the road. The 2020 Ford Expedition offers one of the most impressive suites of standard safety features at all trim levels that we have ever seen. Many of these are only included at the highest trims with SUVs from other manufacturers, while Ford makes your safety its clear priority.

  Standard safety features include dual-stage front airbags, a safety canopy system that includes the third row, and side impact airbags throughout.
