Ford has been consistently giving adventure-seeking drivers a reason to check out each new model year of the Bronco during the sixth generation. The 2025 Ford Bronco continues the trend of offering fantastic standard features, as well as all new content to entice potential SUV shoppers looking for a good two-door or four-door midsize vehicle with strong off-road capabilities and lots of open-air functionality. The new changes for the model year also further help separate the Bronco from its nearest competitors, such as the Jeep Wrangler or the Toyota 4Runner.
New for 2025 is the addition of multiple new packages, the Stroppe Special Edition, and the Free Wheeling Package. The Free Wheeling package is a throwback to the second-and third-generation Bronco models throughout the 1970s and 1980s, featuring a unique multi-colored livery on the exterior and interior, as well as unique wheels when paired with the Sasquatch Edition. The Stroppe Special Edition is a Baja-inspired package that pays homage to the first- and second-generation Ford Bronco, featuring unique Oxford White, Code Orange, and Matte Black colors, with HOSS 3.0, 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires, Baja GOAT mode, and the EcoBoost 2.7-liter V6.
You also have the new Black Appearance Package, featuring black molded trimming and accessories with a black graphics package. A matte clear film is also an available factory-installed feature to give a matte finish to the current color options of the 2025 Bronco, which includes nine different colors. For the color options, you have Marsh Gray, Ruby Red Metallic, Desert Sand, Velocity Blue, Eruption Green, Shadow Black, Azure Gray, Carbonized Gray, and Oxford White. The 2025 Bronco is also available in seven trim formats: the starting Base, the Big Bend, the Heritage Edition, the Outer Banks, the Badlands, the Stroppe Edition, and the Raptor special edition.

The 2025 Ford Bronco's core capabilities are made possible thanks to its varied selection of EcoBoost turbocharged engines. There is the 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged inline 4-cylinder that makes 300 hp at 325 lb-ft of torque, which can be paired either with a 10-speed automatic transmission or configured with a 7-speed manual transmission. The 4-cylinder can manage a total trailering capacity of up to 3,500 lbs when properly equipped.
The 2.7-liter Ecoboost turbocharged V6 makes up to 330 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque and is paired up with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It can also manage a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. The 3.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged V6 for the Bronco Raptor manages up to 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque and is also paired up with a 10-speed automatic transmission. You can also achieve a max towing capacity of up to 4,500 lbs with the Bronco Raptor. All powertrains come configured in four-wheel drive, as the Bronco is designed to take full advantage of its off-road design; however, select trims come standard with part-time four-wheel drive functionality, while the upper-end trims feature advanced automatic on-demand four-wheel drive engagement.
You have the availability of electronic-locking front and rear axles, as well as front stabilizer bar disconnect, and multiple iterations of the HOSS (or High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension) that scales based on trim. The top-end iteration of the HOSS 4.0 (only available on the Raptor) comes standard with the FOX live-valve 3.1 internal bypass shocks with semi-active electronically controlled dampers. The Bronco also starts with 30-inch all-season tires for those looking for a good entry-level midsize daily driver, but it scales up to available 37-inch mud-terrain tires, perfect for making use of the seven different GOAT modes or Go Over Any Terrain modes, including Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Rock Crawl, Rally, and Mud/Ruts.
Each of the models also features low-end torque options for rock crawling or mudding, and you have the basic starting ground clearance of 8.3 inches, but when properly equipped, the Bronco can manage a ground clearance of up to 13.1 inches on the Raptor and up to 11.6 inches on other lower models. When it comes to off-road traversal, there is a max approach angle of 43.3 degrees when the Sasquatch Package is equipped, or 47.2 degrees with the Raptor, and a maximum breakover angle of 30.8 degrees. You can also achieve a max water fording of 33.5 inches when the standard trims are properly equipped, but the Bronco Raptor can achieve a max water fording of up to 37 inches.
The Bronco is available in two-door or four-door body designs. The two-door design seats up to four people across two rows, while the four-door iteration allows you to seat up to five people across the two rows. There are multiple wheel options available for the different trim formats as well, ranging from 16-inch wheels all the way up to 18-inch wheels in different colors, spoke styles, and designs.
The Bronco can also take advantage of its open-air capabilities, with removable doors and roof, which is available in a soft-top or hard-top design. The hard tops can also come with roof rails that have available crossbars, so you can use the Bronco as a cargo carrier to keep your things secure on the roof. A manual swing-gate comes standard with up to 150-degree swinging capability, so you can easily open and get your gear into and out of the Bronco's rear cargo area. Font and rear tow hooks enable you to either use them as leverage to get the Bronco up and over difficult terrain or tow other vehicles out of treacherous spots. The LED lighting array featuring signature lights, fog lamps, and headlights gives the Bronco a lot of utility, while folding side-view mirrors with available heated functionality are very useful no matter where you're driving.
Inside, you have plenty of convenience features in the form of standard storage compartments and beverage holders, with the Bronco capable of handling up to 22.4 cu.ft. of space behind the second row in the two-door variant, but you can extend that cargo capacity by folding down the rear seats and making use of up to 52.3 cu.ft. of cargo volume. For the four-door variant, you have up to 38.3 cu.ft. of cargo volume behind the second row, and if you opt to fold the second row down, you can make use of up to 83 cu.ft. of cargo volume for the soft top and 77.6 cu.ft. of space behind the first row in the hard top.
The Bronco also offers multiple seating material options, with basic cloth, plaid cloth, vinyl, or leather. You have up to a 10-way power driver seat and an 8-way power passenger seat, along with dual-zone automatic climate control and all-new standard air condition vents on the four-door Bronco models for the second row. Sound insulation has been improved for a quieter ride, and available cargo area protection with rubberized flooring makes it easy to protect your belongings and clean out the interior. The manual tilt and telescoping steering column with available sport leather wrapping and paddle shifters make it easy to keep hold of the Bronco whether you're on the street or tearing it up on the trails.
Rugged capabilities and off-road functionality in the 2025 Ford Bronco are a given, but there is a lot of great tech, safety, and connectivity included in the 2025 Bronco as well. You now have a standard 12-inch digital driver display with customizable digital gauge clusters to match the standard 12-inch HD touchscreen. The 12-inch digital driver display replaces the outgoing model year's 8-inch display, creating a more unified look across the dashboard design and giving you a clearer look at the information important to you while you travel.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard across the trim line, while the available B&O 12-speaker sound system from Bang & Olufsen can really improve the audio experience inside the Bronco. AppLink, with an app catalog, comes standard with each trim, so you can have access to all of the popular apps and media that you need access to with the SYNC 4 infotainment suite. Plus, you have available SiriusXM Satellite Radio, 911 Assist, and the FordPass Connect for Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity.
Dual smart charging USB ports for USB C+ and USB A ports make it easy for those in the front and second row to charge devices, while you have Remote Keyless push-button start to get in and get going quickly, along with Intelligent Access with push-button start being available on select trims. On the safety front, you have the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite with driver-assist features, including Automatic Emergency Braking, a Lane-Keeping System, Lane Departure Warnings, Pre-Collision Assist, and Auto High-Beam Headlamps. You have a complete system that offers you great technology and plenty of active automated safety for your journeys on and off the road.
