The Beatles once sang, “It’s getting better all the time,” and that could definitely apply to the Ford Super Duty lineup of heavy-duty trucks. A case in point is the 2025 Ford F-350. This powerful truck has more capability than the already impressive model that was offered last year. In addition, Ford has added more available features to this truck, giving drivers like you the ability to find one that has everything you need, whether you are buying one to help you get your job done or you plan to use it for recreational activities, like towing a boat or camper. The F-350 is part of Ford’s Super Duty lineup, which also includes the F-250 and F-450. This is the one to get if you are in serious need of towing the heaviest trailers and carrying the largest payload, as the F-350 gives you unmatched capability.

The place to go to find the 2025 Ford F-350 is Kings Ford. We are an authorized Ford dealership with the full lineup of Ford vehicles. This allows you to find a new F-350 here with all the features you need in a Super Duty truck.

More Capability in an Unmatched Lineup of Engines

One of the ways that Ford Super Duty sets itself apart from other heavy-duty truck brands is its selection of engines. When you choose to make your heavy-duty truck an F-350, you get a choice of four unique and powerful engines, each paired with a TorqShift-G 10-speed automatic transmission with selectable drive modes. This allows you to get the most out of your truck’s engine.

Ford gives a choice of two different gas and two different diesel engines on the 2025 F-350. The 6.8-liter V8 has a single, in-block cams design with 16 valves for its eight cylinders. This engine uses sequential electronic fuel injection to deliver up to 405 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque at. When equipped with this engine, the F-350 can tow up to 18,900 pounds.

The second gas engine is a 7.3-liter V8 that has been nicknamed Godzilla. This beast also has a single, in-block cam design with 16 valves. Like the 6.8-liter V8, this engine uses sequential electronic fuel injection but has a higher output of 430 hp and 485 lb-ft of torque. This makes the 2025 F-350 with the Godzilla V8 capable of towing a monstrous 22,500 pounds. This is an increase of 3,600 pounds of trailering capability over the 2024 F-350.

Similar increases in capability can be seen in the F-350’s two different diesel engines. The 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V8 features a single turbocharger. The engine has an in-block cam and overhead valve configuration, with 32 valves for its eight cylinders. It delivers up to 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. If you choose to equip your 2025 Ford F-350 with this engine, you can tow up to 36,400 pounds. This boosts the trailering capability by 3,800 pounds over the 2024 model.

The final engine option is a High Output version of the 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V8 engine. This increases the output on this engine to 500 hp and 1,200 lb-ft of torque. Drivers who want to get the best trailering capability on their 2025 F-350 will choose this engine, as it makes the truck capable of towing up to 38,000 pounds. This is an increase of 5,100 pounds over last year’s model. Like we said, the Ford F-350 is getting better all the time.

Best-in-Class Payload Capacity That Is Only Getting Better

The 2025 Ford F-350 can carry up to 8,000 pounds of cargo in its payload bed. This rates as the best among all heavy-duty trucks. You can achieve this incredible capability when you choose an F-350 with the 6.8-liter V8 gas engine, although the other three engines also help you haul cargo.

Just like with the engines, you get choices when it comes to your payload bed. The 2025 F-350 features two different sizes. The 6.8-foot bed has room for up to 65.4 cu.ft. of cargo, while the larger 8.2″ bed increases this capacity to an impressive 78.5 cu.ft. of space. You also have the option of making your truck’s payload even more useful than ever.

You can choose to add a Power Tailgate with Retractable Step on your 2025 F-350. This feature raises and lowers the tailgate with just the push of a button on your truck’s key fob, so you don’t have to waste time and energy doing it manually. The retractable step can then be lowered, making it easier to gain access to the payload bed.

Ford also offers specialized LED lighting in the F-350’s payload bed. This serves two purposes. First, the powerful illumination will allow you to continue to work at night or in low-light conditions. This will reduce the chances of injury, as you and your crew will be able to see what you are doing as you load and unload cargo. Second, the Smart taillights feature works with onboard scales to let you know if your payload is within the appropriate limits. If you exceed the capacity and overload your truck, the lights will blink, letting you know that you have to reduce the weight in your F-350’s payload bed.

Drivers who plan to use their F-350 for work will want to consider adding the Pro Power Onboard feature. This delivers 2kW of power right in your truck’s payload bed, so you can plug in all of your tools when you are on a job site. You can then use the F-350’s tailgate as a workbench as you get your job done with your own mobile workstation.

Trailering Made Easier on the 2025 F-350

The folks at Ford understand that hitching a trailer can be one of the more challenging tasks, especially if you are working alone. This is why the 2025 F-350 features the available Pro Trailer Hitch Assist system. This uses a rear camera and corner radars on the truck to align the hitch ball with the trailer coupler. At the same time, it will control the speed, steering, and braking on your F-350 to get everything lined up.

You can also opt for the Onboard Scales and Smart Hitch on your 2025 Ford F-350. These features take the guesswork out of trailering. One issue that you are sure to encounter is the trailering capacity of your truck. This often involves figuring out the maximum amount of weight your truck can tow, and it is based on things like the cab style, drivetrain, powertrain, and payload bed on your F-350. Also, adding things like a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch will increase this number. The problem is that if you don’t have a trailering chart available that has all of this information, as well as the weight of whatever you are planning to tow, you could get into some trouble out on the road.

Smart Hitch will measure the tongue weight of the trailer you are connecting, allowing you to properly distribute the trailer weight. At the same time, the Onboard Scales will calculate the weight of your truck’s payload and display it on your SYNC 4 touchscreen. In this way, you can avoid any problems that may arise if you are off in your calculations. This available technology will make it safer and easier than ever for you to use your 2025 Ford F-350 for towing and hauling purposes.
