If you’re shopping for a 2025 Ford Bronco for sale near Middletown because you’re interested in a rugged midsize SUV that is rich with content and filled to the brim with all-new features, you’re definitely on the right track. The 2025 Bronco offers more content than ever before and does so across a refreshed trim line-up for the model year. Some big changes have also been made when it comes to standard equipment, new packages, and improving the overall value of the Bronco models. We’ll start with what’s new and then break down the core features and packages that make the Bronco well worth it for prospective shoppers for the 2025 model year.

What’s New for the 2025 Ford Bronco?

Before you settle into which trim you want to consider purchasing, the first thing to be made aware of is that you have the new Bronco Stroppe Special Edition, which is a Baja-inspired trim featuring a new Baja GOAT Mode. This mean machine comes standard in a two-door format and sports the HOSS 3.0 High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension. You have 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires, and it comes in an Oxford White and Code Orange livery with an Atlas Blue hard top. You have a unique cabin as well, with a black interior featuring red stitching, along with red trimming and a white dashboard.

The Bronco Base trim also makes a return for the model year, while the Bronco Free Wheeling is a package that is available for the Big Bend trim as part of the 2025 model year line-up. The Free Wheeling package features an exterior based on the 1970s and 1980s iteration of the Bronco with a red, orange, and yellow livery in a four-door design. The Free Wheeling comes with steel wheels and a unique black finish on the exterior mirrors, bumper, and grille. The red and orange pin-stripped interior also matches the exterior aesthetic. And if you want to improve the performance, you can upgrade it with the Sasquatch Package.

Additionally, there is the all-new Black Appearance Package, featuring a removable hard top in a Shadow Black color scheme. You have black molded-in-color mirror caps, fender flares, door handles, and grille. The Black Appearance Package can be added with the Sasquatch Package for a unique style on the wheels. Lots of new standard equipment joins the 2025 Bronco’s line-up, too, including a standard 12-inch digital instrument cluster across the entire trim line, along with an updated graphics display for the GOAT Modes based on the Raptor model. You even have a new 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system replacing the 10-speaker setup from the outgoing model year, along with added air conditioning vents in the second row, improved sound insulation, and new 35-inch tires for the Sasquatch Package.

2025 Ford Bronco Trims and Colors

  • Base
  • Big Bend
  • Heritage Edition
  • Outer Banks
  • Badlands
  • Stroppe Edition
  • Raptor

The seven trims offer very distinct opportunities for completely different driving styles, aesthetics, and feature sets. Additionally, there are nine total colors, featuring Carbonized Gray, Eruption Green Metallic, Azure Gray, Ruby Red Metallic, Desert Sand, Marsh Gray, Velocity Blue, Shadow Black, and Oxford White. The Base, Badlands, and Big Bend trims offer the most colors, with all nine being available. The Stroppe only comes in its signature color, while the Heritage and Outer Banks have a limited selection of exterior colors. The Raptor trades out the Eruption Green for a Shelter Green Metallic that’s just made for bending in with nature. This is worth considering, given that the trims with more natural colors will better blend into Middletown’s relaxed atmosphere, while those with more extravagant color schemes will stand out more. So, it depends on how you want your Bronco to look while driving around.

What sets the Base trim apart is that not only is it available in all nine colors, but it’s also configurable with the open-air design in either two-door or four-door formats. The Big Bend, the Outer Banks, the Heritage Edition, and the Raptor are all standard in four-door designs, while the Stroppe Edition is locked in a two-door configuration. The Badlands can be configured in either two-door or four-door formats. So, if you want the most options in terms of color and configuration, the Base or Badlands should be your top priority. However, if you want specific designs, specific color options, or specific features, finding the middle ground between the available trims that offer the right feature and performance combination is the way to go.

2025 Ford Bronco Performance

The 2025 Bronco has three powertrain configurations in four-wheel drive, so you’re always going to have good stability and control no matter what the season or weather is like around Middletown. A turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost inline 4-cylinder makes 300 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. You can get it in either a 10-speed automatic or a 7-speed manual transmission. Then there is the turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. And finally, there is the specially tuned turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoostV6 exclusive for the Raptor trim that makes up to 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque. Both the 2.7-liter and 3.0-liter V6 are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The 4-cylinder and standard V6 can tow up to 3,500 lbs, while the V6 for the Raptor can tow up to 4,500 lbs. Each of the models other than the Base trim and the Big Bend can either be paired with the inline 4-cylinder or the standard V6. The Base and Big Bend, however, come standard with the 4-cylinder only. The Raptor comes standard with the high-output V6 and cannot be configured with any other powertrain.

You can opt for either an open rear differential or a rear locking differential. There is also the Electric Shift On The Fly 2-speed transfer case that comes standard on most trims, but there is the option for the advanced automatic on-demand transfer case for improved torque output and traction control. Each trim is also available with multiple wheel designs in different colors, depending on the style and design that you prefer.

2025 Ford Bronco Convenience and Capabilities

The 2025 Bronco is available with soft or hard-top roof options, and each trim lets you choose an available roof type for that select trim. You have either cloth seats or leather-trimmed vinyl seats depending on the trim, with the interior color and stitching varying per trim. The Heritage Edition, for instance, comes with plaid cloth seats with a Navy Pier color scheme, while the Raptor features Black Onyx, and the Big Bend with the Free Wheeling Package features marine-grade vinyl with multi-colored seat design. You have available heated front row power seats and an available heated steering wheel.

You also have optional slide-out tailgate functionality, tires that go from 30 inches up to 37 inches in all-terrain, mud-terrain, and rugged terrain compositions, as well as the availability of heavy-duty performance bumpers for the front and rear. LED lighting array is standard across the trim line, while features like the side-step for accessibility, front stabilizer bar, rock rails, and full vehicle steel bash plates are available for select trims. The bash plates cover the front, engine, and transfer case on the two-door variant and the front, engine, transfer case, and fuel tank on the four-door variant.

2025 Ford Bronco Technology and Safety

An auto-dimming rearview mirror is available on select trims, along with auxiliary switches, dual-zone automatic temperature control, a power outlet, and dual smart charging USB ports. All trims, however, come standard with the Ford SYNC 4 infotainment suite featuring a 12-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen and a matching 12-inch digital display cluster. You have integrated access to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as standard AM/FM stereo radio, enhanced voice recognition, Bluetooth wireless streaming, SiriusXM with 360L, and the connected navigation suite with FordPass activation and Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity, perfect for when you’re commuting well outside of Middletown and into more remote places.

The Bronco comes standard with a 7-speaker audio system featuring a subwoofer, but you can upgrade it to the B&O 12-speaker surround sound system from Bang & Olufsen. Remote start and accessibility, as well as adaptive cruise control, are also available. The Ford Co-Pilot360 suite is included on all trims and includes active driver assist features such as blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assistance, and lane departure warnings to help keep you safe on the road. Other standard safety features include a Belt Minder, the Safety Canopy, and AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control.
